About our founder
Debbie Foster Ames grew up on the coast of New England and feels fortunate to still call it home. In high school she was an exchange student in Paris and found the experience of living in another country to be very empowering. She loved the challenge of speaking another language and exploring a new city. Over the years she has been fortunate to have taken many trips with her family. Beginning with planning her destination wedding in Rockport Maine and honeymoon in Alaska, to many trips with her children from a young age.
Travel is a cornerstone of Debbie's value system and these experiences have fueled her interest and expertise in travel. She can assist you in planning a trip to Europe, the Caribbean and of course right here in New England!

Our approach
Is to discover and understand each client’s travel wish list. This is where we get to know you; your interests, your previous travel experiences, budget, who is traveling, dates and destination. After the initial discovery process, Foster Ames Travel will clarify the scope of services. When services are agreed upon, the travel design begins! This will include a travel quote detailing all of the specifics. The travel planning process can take a bit of back and forth to fine-tune each element of travel. Once everything is perfect, we will reserve and reconfirm your travel details. Bon voyage! Your trip will be monitored to ensure everything is running smoothly. Upon your return, Foster Ames Travel will debrief with you to learn how everything went and ensure you were pleased. Customer service, in an age of do-it-yourself, is what Foster Ames Travel will provide.
